AI Headshot Generator ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign in (e.g. with Apple), we receive your email (or private relay), name (if provided), and a unique user identifier.
• Photos you upload: Photos you provide are used only to generate your AI headshots. They are processed by our backend and by third-party AI services as described below.
• Usage and job data: We store your headshot job status, style choices, and generated image URLs in our database so you can view and download your results.
• Purchase information: In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive purchase and entitlement data via RevenueCat to manage your credit balance.
• Push notification token: If you allow notifications, we store a token so we can notify you when your headshots are ready.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: create and manage your account; process your photos to generate headshots; fulfill purchases and manage credits; send you push notifications about job completion; improve our service and fix issues; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy; we encourage you to read them.

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) – We use Firebase for authentication (sign-in), cloud database (Firestore), cloud functions (backend logic), cloud storage, and push notifications (FCM). Data is stored and processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy. Google Privacy Policy
• Astria (Astria) – We use Astria's API to train AI models on your photos and generate professional headshot images. Your photos and generated images are processed on Astria's systems. Astria Privacy
• RevenueCat – We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and entitlements (credits). RevenueCat receives purchase-related data from Apple and shares entitlement data with us. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Apple – Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases are handled by Apple. We receive only the account and purchase information that Apple provides to developers. Apple Privacy Policy
• Expo (Expo Operations Inc.) – We use Expo's push notification service to deliver notifications to your device when your headshots are ready. Expo Privacy

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data, job history, and generated image references for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Photos and data sent to third-party processors (e.g. Astria) are subject to their retention policies.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures (including Firebase security rules and authenticated APIs) to protect your data. Photos and API calls are transmitted over HTTPS.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights or ask questions, contact us using the support options in the app or the contact information provided there.

7. Children

The app is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
